Is that right? Two things.

1. Bidders fell asleep at the wheel.
2. That seller got owned, heh.

EDIT: It says the seller ended the auction early. So that\'s probably a fake bid.

Is it possible the transaction was done privately? Doesn\'t the seller have to pay a  fee for anything over $1000?

Or.....that\'s just insane!

Often times, a buyer will email the seller and say "I send a money order for 1000, you save 40 in fees;" however, most of the time this method is used by scammers, since they know that this seller is not protected by eBay or Paypal.  He will likely get a fake money order.
