i don\'t think soully is racist at all. it\'s just what he said wasn\'t funny at all....for the most part soully is right up with mm as far as his sarcastic humor....if he would\'ve made that comment in the hood, he would\'ve gotten his grill smashed for sayin somethin\' like that, and his black friends would\'ve gotten that ass whooped for lettin\' him say it...
ultimately this goes back to black folk using it....look at dave chappelle...i read in an article as to why he left his show...he stated he had a meeting with the producers of his show and they asked him questions like "why do black people call each-other the "n" word?" and how how come black folk get mad when we say it? Dave went on to explain why black folk call each-other that and so on.....long story short...Dave stated that the producers started feelin\' waaay to comfortable with the word and used it around him but in a jokingly fashion,..then they wanted him to start using the skits that "they" created letting him know when and when he cannot use the "n" word...
He went on to say that he started feelin\' like one of those black folks from back in tha day with the cane and top hat, just dancin around on a stage while the white folk were laughing at him...that is why he walked away from so much money....he felt that his producers who were all white by the way were laughing at him and not with him....you almost get the feeling that they were looking down on him after that conversation and that they never really respected him that much after that meeting....
And quite honestly maybe that is what dave needed to see how white folk perceive him when he uses it on stage,*a wake up call if you may* because of the history behind it and yet we still use it like it\'s nothing....and this has nothing to do with caring about what white folk think, it\'s about the people who fought so hard to make that word dissappear and to give us the things that we take advantage of today....
