I\'m going to Boulder, Colorado for work. But I plan to have one weekend free there to see some stuff and maybe taste some watery amercian beer.

Any recommendations?

Anyone living nearby?

When I visited my buddies in Denver, the change in elevation wreaked havoc on my stomach, I had tons of gas and had to take monster sh!ts.  Get some Gas-X at the local pharmacy there if you feel it coming on ;>

As for your destination.. Colorado is all about the country, just experience Midwest Americana & good clean air at its finest :)  You\'ll want to have a big mem card for your digicam if you go hiking.  Check out Tripadvisor\'s take on the attractions nearby.

edit- it seems Denver is a mere 30 miles away.  Check that place out if you want more culture and cityscape

^^^you\'re from Sweden?...i remember back in 01 i banged this chick from sweden, she looked like that blond chick with the short haircut that used to play on some show called melrose place....meh i\'ve never been to colorado, but from what i understand mcdonalds in the states tastes better than mcdonalds internationally, i recommend the Big Mac!...:fro:

Wendy\'s ftw. But I love White Castle. They aren\'t all over the states but here in Jersey, there are a few of them and they are amazing. Can\'t eat them too often and they definitely aren\'t good for you but they taste so good when you have the craving for them like I do.

fat tire is good, but if you can get your hands on Moose Drool, that\'s pretty tasty.  Also Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a nice change from what most are used to.

Except you can\'t find it outside of pittsburgh.  I have a buddy here that praises that beer like its the greatest ever but we can\'t find it here in Ohio.

I love beer dude. But microbrews aren\'t big here in Jersey and that annoys me. I\'d love to try the lesser known companies. I bet their beer is a lot better than the big beers. I know Bud, Coors and them suck in comparison. I try to drink Yeungling and Sam Adams when I can but I want to get better beer than that.
