I quit one month ago Luke. Use to smoke a pack a day.
I used the gum and had great results.
Also half the battle of quitting smoking isn\'t the addiction to nicotine, its the the habit itself. My favourite time to smoke was as soon as I rolled out of bed, and after dinner. To combat that habit I took straws and cut them in half and carried them around. Then i\'d just puff on the straw. Sounds silly, but every little trick helps.
Another thing to do is to tell EVERYONE you know that your quitting. The people you work with, your family, the people you hang out with. It puts more pressure on yourself to stick with it so you don\'t get "You douchebag, you said you were quitting."
I know its a very hard thing to do, but just set little goals for yourself. Like you seem to be doing.
