Forgot another...

2LDK

If you wanna see 2 hot Japanese chicks get it on, alone in an apartment, check it out...

(Its not what you pervs are thinking...)
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Next up, Reincarnation by Takashi Shimizu...

Oh yeah I saw that at my DVD rental. I was thinking to get it but I hesitated because I didnt know how good it is. Especially after I just saw Ju On2 which dissapointed me hugely.

I see you mentioned 4 Ju On movies there. Are the first two the original Japanese versions and the other two the "remakes"?
So far I ve seen Ju On 1 and 2 and Grudge 1 and 2.

4 Ju On movies released in Japan, 2 in the US...

Curse 1 - Low budget, about the teacher paying a home visit to the house, stars Chiaki Kuriyama, of Battle Royale...

Curse 2 - Continues where Curse 1 left off, literally, in that the first 30 minutes of this is the last 30 minutes of Curse 1, which is why its such a ripoff...

Grudge 1 (Japan) - Theatrical release about the home care worker visiting the house, the one the US version was based on, with a little bit of Curse 1 thrown in...

Grudge 2 (Japan) - About a pregnant actress filming a documentary about the house...

yes Old Boy is an awesome awesome movie - korean not japanese but very good non the less

also if you watch anime at all the live action version of Death Note was very entertaining to me

few other Asian movies recommended are

Casshern - Japanese Sci Fi - zomg the cinematograhpy is so nice

My Sassy Girl - one of the top grossing movies of all time in korea - its a romantic comedy like no other - trust me even guys will like it as i did - it just absorbs you into it - the sequel but really prequel Windstruck is pretty good too and has the guy from "Volcano High" if you seen that

Volcano High was pretty good but i rather the non rapper dubbed version >.>

Battle Royale 1/2 = good stuff but 1 was much more original and fun to watch and plus it has GoGo from Killbill in it ftw - heh just noticed that other day when i rewatched it

i have yet to watch the other Vengance movies the 2 sorta sequels to OldBoy but i hear the Symphathy for lady vengance is pretty good

Tale of Two Sisters is a good Korea horror movie

anyways ill have to glance over some of my dvds - i tend to like the asian flick seen more so then american as of late because they are a bit more creative and dont rehash a lot of the same stuff over and over like in us lately
This Sig is a Work in Progress.

I\'ve seen those 3, Oldboy aswell as Sympthay for Lady Vengance and Sympathy for Mr Vengance. I liked Lady better out of the two. But out of three Oldboy was easily my favourite. The soundtrack to that movie with the violins is excellent.

Korean Movies

Oldboy = Overrated but nice twist at the end
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance = Overhyped/overrated, silly, nice plot/story but cheesily executed
Sympathy for Mr Vengeance = I don\'t know, I was too bored to finish it
My Sassy Girl = Great, drags in the middle, Jeon Ji Hyun is gorgeous
A Tale of Two Sisters = Confusing but interesting
Phone = Ripoff of other horror movies but decent
Sez is Zero = Funny, gross, sad, softcore porn
Wet Dreams 1 & 2 = Midly funny, not as gross as expected
Red Eye = Sucks
The Ring Virus = Tried to captialize on the popularity of Ringu and fails miserably, horrible acting/directing, just plain sucks

Breakdown of Asian movies:

Action - Hong Kong (80\'s thru mid-90\'s only)
Horror/Weirdness - Japan
Drama/Romance - Korea
