G1 it isn\'t but cool nonetheless

F22 Starscream, transforming in mid air totally owns G1 Starscream. The plot might turn out a bit corny, but it\'ll be a really cool summer action movie though.

I know I say I hate Bay (and I do) but I\'ve also mentioned that it\'s a love/hate relationship, because I have a soft spot for summer blockbusters. So yeah, I\'m there, even if I don\'t give a rats ass about Transformers.

Not sure why people hate bay. Pearl harbor was horrible but looking at his other films, nothing too special/horrible about him. Bad boys are decent flicks. texas chainsaw massacre, the rock.

I see hes doing prince of persia which i could see being really cool, but I wish it\'d be more than a popcorn flick.

Bleh, I\'ve been reading up on the subject. Seems like all the good stuff is in the trailer, supposedly there isn\'t much action until the end. Oh well, probably still gonna see it sometime anyway.

EDIT: One thing I don\'t get though is how that car can \'transform\' into a BIG GIANT FUCKING ROBOT! There isn\'t even that much metal to begin with, wtf?

^ I\'m sure ILM made sure the transformation engineering to be (movie) convincingly real. No mass shifting as in the cartoons.

His leg was like the size of the car before it transformed. That was...not...realistic. The movie looks entertaining though. Isn\'t the original guy who voiced Optimus Prime doing the voice for the one in this movie?

i thought the same exact thing. But then i realized...its a car changing into a robot so i should stop thinking

realism and having basketball-player height robots vs. having bad ass ginormous robots...i pick the latter

Haha yeah, I know. But it still bothers me... I mean, I\'m willing to accept the fact that they can transform, but the whole 1 ton car --> 20 ton robot just seemed weird. Still it\'s Michael Bay, what can you expect.
