Do you have the album "Can\'t Buy a Thrill"  ?  Then you should know that the song "Reeling in the Years" has one of the coolest guitar performances OF ALL TIME.  Steely Dan does not suck, if only on the basis of that one song.  However, they also have recorded many other cool songs.

I like "Peg" and "Bodhisattva" and "Chain Lightning"
