Impressions and spoilers:
I\'m only a couple levels in, but it\'s pretty neat. Some of the controls are looser than I\'d like, but the atmosphere is decent, the main character is cool and the darkness that overcomes him provides some unique attacks.
What\'s coolest so far is the cut scenes are interactive. In the game, my girlfriend wanted me to watch tv so I sat down with her. Then I could look at the tv and sure enough, it was playing an entire, actual black and white movie. I could have stayed and watched the whole thing. I also could have gotten up off the couch and continued to the next objective, but I hung around. You know in games if you\'re nice to people they might help you out later...
Well in this scene, I hung around long enough and the girlfriend gave me a kiss (achievement unlocked, heh) and went to sleep. So then I got up to go to the next objective and my character just kind of moved her off his lap so she could sleep on the couch.
So if that\'s the kind of detail I\'m in for, this could be a pretty neat game. I still need to get a hang of the combat, though, I\'m pretty sloppy with it.
Also, pretty gruesome to use the darkness powers to eat the hearts of those you kill.
