The Simpsons Movie

Anyone see it?
I saw it today and I have to say that it was the funniest movie I\'ve seen in a while.  I used to be a huge simpson fan up until the past 7 years or so, when it started to go down the crapper.  However, this movie was funny from start to end.  There are just so many parts that have you laughing out loud, and then chuckeling to yourself for the next minute.  At the end of the movie everyone in the theater actually gave it a standing ovation, I\'ve never seen that happen in a movie theater.

I haven\'t seen it, I\'m not a big movie goer either, I\'ll probably catch it on sky, or borrow it off someone if they get it when it comes out on dvd.

I also used to watch the simpsons, almost like a religion, but over the last 5 years or so, I got out of the habit of watching it.

it did go through a bit of a dip for a few years, I watched a couple of episodes over the past few weeks, and they seemed ti be better than when I stopped watching

what\'s sky?

anyway, good to hear it was that funny. I was/am kind of skeptical of the movie because none of the previews struck me as being that funny. Got a few of those exhale only laughs but thats about it. Only preview i laughed at was the part where homer was using the canon ball

It\'s The Simpsons, how funny can it be? Maybe I am just jaded, but I can honestly say, after all these years, I\'ve yet to laugh at a single episode of that show.

no idea how to use the spoiler tag, but if you don\'t want this ruined for you, don\'t read the next segment of text.

the best part of the movie was with tom hanks when in the credits he is like,  "Hi, I\'m Tom Hanks, and if you see me in person, please let me be."

I found that hilarious

I never claimed to be cool, I just said I don\'t see the appeal of the show. It\'s like saying, I don\'t understand why anyone would find \'The Office\' funny.
