gamespots review of madden...

y\'know i don\'t doubt that this year\'s madden is probably good, but why is it that every time somebody reviews this thing it\'s always.."this is the greatest madden ever" whether it\'s IGN or gamespot or any other respected game site....the animations and tackles are finally up to par, but this took how many years? and people are glorifyin it like it\'s the latest and greatest...madden is still overrated to me....i wonder why nobody ever dared to be critical of it even when it was putting out really weak versions of  what it called football...

And yet again i\'m sure we\'re going to hear that this years madden is "the greatest ever"...i swear EA must have everybody on their bankroll....it\'s also still plagued by the super comeback of the AI....espn 2k5 had the option where you could turn that off and just let the skill and rank of the team determine the outcome...yea i hated that the 2k series is gone, but i also just hate how critics and reviewers are so far up Madden\'s ass it\'s not even funny....

madden is all about fixing the sliders. they can\'t make default difficulties to save their live. The problem with that is that you can only save one kind of difficulty. I wish i could have one (harder) difficulty on a normal game, and then an easier one on superstar since it\'s a lot harder to play.

Reviews have been bad for this next-gen, while the ps2 version has gotten a LITTLE better every time. I get that people want a new awesome game every year, but that seems a little unreasonable. 2k5 was good...it was the year they made some huge ass improvements (i only liked the presentation, never got into gameplay). but before that, the game didnt get that much better every year.

not really sure what my point is, but they did do a lot with this years madden. I wish I didn\'t have 07 so i could get myself to buy 08, but with all the other games out im not going to buy it

main thing i was impressed with in 07 was the qb motions when you\'re running. i think they got that totally down. now im just curious if they fixed the infamous madden \'move like you\'re throwing 5 yards but chuck it for 60" animation
