yep, my transistion to a nerd is complete. I need glasses, i have a eye condition called astigmatism. Basically my eyes don\'t focus properly. Its not that bad, its only a slight double vision.

So tomorrow i\'ll be picking up my glasses and my apprenticeship will be complete.

I\'ve had long term eye problems going back over 10 years, technically speaking, I need glasses, and I have a pair, I never wear them though, I can still see well enough to read the shit on these forums.

yea, i can read everything pretty much fine.. but everything has a slight ghosting about it.. it\'s causing me lingering headaches. Which is hte main reason for me getting these glasses.

I get a faint ghost to everything I see, but it doesn\'t seem to cause me any problems right now.

I also get these sort of comet tail things when I look at light sources, that\'s more annoying than the ghost images.

well, i got me glasses.. cost me about 500 bucks.. Just some CK ones with lenses that have all this extra crap on them for using computer monitors, reducing glare etc.

oh, and i can see clearly now woot!

hey not bad.. coming from a metrosexual they look smart & stylish at the same time.. worth the $500. one great thing about glasses is they can hide the bags under your eyes (if you got em)
