Yeah, I watched this on Friday. I thought Bill recovered pretty well. Of course he\'s also a stand up comedian, so he\'s used to dealing with hecklers. Not to mention that he often has some out of control conversations with his guests on Real Time, so he\'s pretty good at keeping the show on course.
you don\'t see that on question time
Wow...some people are really fucking obnoxious in the audience.
theyre crazy democrats....
I watch maher\'s show now and then whenever I catch it on. I hate his tone, and pretty much everything he says. But he has decent panels and some really good guests.
Actually this show had this politician from Russia that was really interesting. Maher was trying to cut down bush, so he was like "at least in russia they somewhat like their leader" and the russian guy was like "where do you get that information?" and maher just gave a look like \'you\'re right, i have no idea what im talking about\'

Kasparov replied that if Bush had the kind of oppressive, near-dictatorial powers and control of media Putin has, he would likely enjoy the same high approval ratings in the United States.
Kasparov made a good point. One of the things I like about Maher is that he is self-depreciating and willing to concede a point if someone else makes a good argument. This is something you rarely see from conservative right wing talk show hosts.

Would this be the segment? Garry Kasparov is the guy who played against the IBM computer Deep Blue years back. Kasparov is a pretty smart guy, I remember watching a documentary about his 2 matches against Deep Blue and it was pretty interesting. I didn\'t know he was running for office in Russia.
