Uh, OK.
YOU found a game without screen tearing, yet there is plenty of screen tearing in other games.
You can see screen tearing in Uncharted, but overall the game is beautiful, the environments, textures, lighting, the water, everything seems alive, the animations(I know you don\'t like)...the system collision(just shoot someone, and if he falls down to some little stones with his arm on the stone, the position of the arm on it is natural as "real life", its position, the way the arm and the hand lie on the stone...it\'s incredible, I just noticed some more little details today after finished the game 2 times and now the 3rd time at the hardest level)
So, don\'t concentrate on one single flaw, just see all the game, in general...
Honestly, I\'m not sure you have a point. You sit and bitch about a developer being crappy, due to the fact their PS3 versions don\'t surpass the 360, you get called on that and then you just sit around backtracking.
Just disregard the word crap and crappy, I was overdoing...
My point is some developers are already pushing a bit PS3, and in the 1st gen is something "reserved" to 1st party or very talented 3rd party who actually had some time to spend on the new hardware(look at Burnout Paradise, COD4, DMC4)
So was Sega with the Saturn . Doesn\'t change anything tho\'. If you make a system that no one can develop for, you\'re helping the competition, when it comes to third party titles.
You\'re helping the competition a bit just the first year, then the good developers will get used more and more with the more complex/powerful hardware and we\'ll see better things year by year...remember that the final verdict will be in 2012-2013, not now...and I\'m confident that PS3 will do very very well, starting from now, first and third party games ! Peace
