That was the idea, but ICT (Image Constraint Token) - which would limit video output to 480p on anything but HDMI, has been put on hold. Hopefully that will never be used. :P

Anyway, ripping movies via a capture card is a bad idea, the filesize for just a few minutes of video goes far into Gigabyte-land.

you are talking about ICT for the analog connection which is a good thing they didn\'t implement.  I am talking about copy protection via the digital connection like HDCP for the HDMI.

How did you managed to capture images and videos via HDMI for Blu Ray movies is beyond me there.:D

I didnt, I used the component output. :D

HDMI capture via PS3 is impossible if you dont have a PS3 TEST unit which can de-activate HDCP. :(

I\'ve started uploading some captured videos to the VIMEO website, it allows proper HD videos to be streamed. Sadly there is a limit of 500MB per week in terms of uploaded video. :/

Getting tomorrow PS3 with 2 games, probably Uncharted and R&C...
...and I will get it with a TV...give me any advice about the best TV to get(40-42" LCD full HD 1080P)...spending 1500-1700 max euro...

I found a Sharp 42" full HD 1080P 3 HDMI port  contrast 10000:1 ...1690 euri...thanks in advance !

if picture quality is more important to you, get the 42" 1080p plasma.

if screen brightness with less glare and reflection is more important to you, get lcd.
