I want to read it, but can\'t.. Stupid format. Just way too blurry. I recommend PNG or Gif, because it\'s a loselss format, but then again a lossy compressior like Jpeg is more efficient at reducing the image size, but at the cost of degration.
LOL.  THX was much more funnier than your are on this one.

LIC,
You are trying too hard to be funny on this one.  First, the reason why it was blurry was that the resolution isn\'t that high for small text.

you\'re wrong when you say lossy compressor is more efficient at reducing image size because both GIF and PNG can reduce just as much or more efficient than JPEG when it comes to compressing picture with little variation of color on it.  So, PNG have two benefits here.  Save a lot of space as much as in the 100 times or more than the original, and no compression artifacts whatsoever.  Just like the original pic.

let me gives you two picture comparisons as an example between jpeg and png.  *both png and JPEG is compressed using microsoft paintbrush software here*

The top picture was saved in png.  and as you can see, its only use roughly 31 Kbytes.

The bottom picture was saved in JPEG.  And use about 73 Kbytes.

Did you guys see that?  PNG uses less data than jpeg, but looks 100% like the original while JPEG look drab.  color red look too drab on jpeg, and if you zoom in, you will notice a lot of noticeable mosquite noises around the text, smiley, menu arts, etc. on the jpeg.  but png look just as like the original.  pure lossless picture with no compression artifacts.

I know I\'ve asked this before, but I guess I need to ask again.

Did you smoke crack before you posted that?

Here are two pictures comparison where I zoomed in 6 times and cut and arranged the image of a jpeg format and a png format.  Both of these are then saved in png to make it a fair and better comparison.

If i were to saved a jpeg pic in jpeg format again, it will reduce the quality some more as lossy compressing something that is already compressed will degrade the quality more.

That\'s why I saved both in png.  As you can see, the png has no compression artifacts, while jpeg have a lot of mosquite noises around text, smiley, etc.  mosquite noises are like graininess and color smudge of a picture.

First pic is 6x zoom of a png image and second is a 6x zoom of a jpeg image.  Both were then later saved in png.  funny thing is the already saved png image has only 20.7 Kbytes of require space while the already saved jpeg has 46.5 kbytes when save it in png.  this is dued to the mosquite noises make up more varation of color on pic of the jpeg image, so require more space when saving it png format.

WTF Paul? LIC is right. You must be on some potent crack. Here\'s that same image as a JPG ~>

All you do is save the JPG at a higher quality and you don\'t get "artifacts". Do you know why your comparison is fucking retarded? Because we\'re all using broadband and it doesn\'t fucking matter anyway. Holy shit.

No, i don\'t smoke crack.  I am a nerd when it comes to these kind of thing.  It\'s like an interest for me.

You didn\'t really 100% quoted what I quote though...you add some words that I didn\'t say like saving it in jpg will reduce the size a lot when compare to saving it in png which is where you are wrong...

that is only true if there is a lot of variation of color on the picture.  if there a little variation of color, png wins hands down.

It must have been late, and you probably didn\'t read what i wrote.  I said i zoomed in a jpeg image at 6 times the original size and then i copy that zoomed image to give you a better understanding of what it looks like when the jpeg image was blown up.

you misunderstood what i did.  sigh like you usually where.  remember the time when you called me crack fiend and you made up some number about how many bits are there in a byte because of  your misconception?  Again, read what I wrote previously and you may understand better.

I\'ll keep that in mind, Paul. Just in case I ever want to blow up a picture x6 times it\'s original size.

Thanks!

Yeah, no shit.

Paul...we all fucking know what PNG and JPG are. You can end your OCD now. I\'m just testing you to see how many times you can explain the same fucking thing over and over again.

Do you like secretly write down trivial and pointless moments in your life where you get to fully stretch your OCD? Do you write these things on little notes and keep them in your secret OCD box? No I don\'t remember that. LOL. Holy fuck, you\'re nuts.

Paul, I like you. I really do, but I think you spend way to much time worrying about PNG, Gif or Jpegs. Now, normally, I\'d advise you to go out and get laid, but I don\'t see that happening, so I am going to do the next best thing.. Take my advice and go here.

i understand why you say that.  JPG or PNG or uncompressed without blowing it up will be hardly noticable and since its the internet, it shouldn\'t matter.

I respect that opinion of yours, i didn\'t say you have to do it nor did i force to do it.  I am just suggesting it so you guys can decide what you want.  Geez.

Again, its just that i am an audio, video, computer enthusiast and i just like it at the best performance, quality, etc...

everybody have different hobbies, and your hobbies are different than mine.  that is why you don\'t care if a basic image is in png or jpeg.  i respect because again, you have different interest and hobbies than mine.

I think its back in early 2005 when i said something about 54 mbits equal 6.75 Mbytes.

Then you called me crack fiend, and you said its 11 Mbytes.  But it turns out you were wrong because of your misconception.

Added:  No, I don\'t write notes about those events.  I have good memory and its just that I happened to remember that part because you falsely accused me and that\'s why i remember.
