no, somewhere you mixed up complexity with good quality games.
The best games are often the simplest i.e. tetris or a more recent example katamari damacy.
No actually its you who are confused.
First of all you use the word "stellar" as if it is a synonim of quality.
Secondly you havent defined under what criteria you are basing the description of stellar
You also ASSUME too much. I implied NOTHING about complexity of games.
Farthermore you ignore the effect of time. Tetris was "stellar" in its time. But what was considered stellar before may not be considered stellar today. Today it is just like any other puzzle game found all over the internet unless it passes through major redesign. The only people that recognise its impact is people that experienced it at younger ages like us. And even people like us today may ignore pass it.
It also amazes me how you were annoyed by my tetris comment (which is totally irrelevant to the point of my post) but not for bejeweled which is also great.
Lastly you ignored that it is the combination of execution, depth and sometimes originality that makes a game of high quality regardless of compelxity, platform or genre.
[sarcasm]
Well perhaps if a company decides to port over all the simple and fun games found like bejewel and tetris in the internet over its console it would automatically solve the quality problem of its library[/sarcasm]
