What kind of phone do you have?

Well, it\'s that time.  I\'ve went all my life without ever owning a cellphone, but now due to having a family and work, I need to break down a purchase one. I\'ll just be getting my wife\'s current plan, but I\'m curious as to what kind of phone everyone has..

Here are the ones I\'m looking at (Tmobile).

Blackberry 8700g


You\'ll note all are so called smartphones. Right now, I\'m leaning towards the Shadow due to it\'s form factor.

I have an oldie, but goodie, the Sony Ericsson K750i. It\'s the best phone I\'ve ever had and it does what I need, so I don\'t want to replace it just yet.

Now I have an iPhone, love that little thing.

Out of all the ones you posted w/tmobile I like the Shadow the best.  The other ones belong in a briefcase, not a pocket.

Out of curiosity why do you need a smartphone?

i dont really use it that much though..use it more for tetris when im taking a dump than anything else

I didn\'t really need a Smartphone, per say. I just always said if I got a phone, I\'d get one that done everything I could ever want.  Hard to believe, I\'m 25 and this is my first phone. I just don\'t care for them in general. Only picked this one up due to the fact I need it for the family.

With that said, I went ahead and added \'net access to the bill. That was another $20 friggin\' bucks. But, by god, I\'ll enjoy surfin\' the \'net at the doctors office and other stupid places. Not to mention support for PocketSNES.

free AT&T go phone.   bill is about 7$ a month.

paying 100\'s of dollars for flimsy devices and another 50$+ a month is nonsense.

Normally, I\'d agree, but my wife already had a plan and contract. She added me to her plan for an extra $5 a month, plus I got the data plan, which is $19 a month.  So, really it isn\'t all that much. Also, with me activating a new "line", they knocked a $150 off the phone and it has a $50 dollar mail in rebate, so the phone itself was $100.

I pay exactly $0,00 per month. I only pay for the minutes I use my phone (which isn\'t all that much really). And I\'m free to change it at will and as often as I like. But as I said before I\'m already happy with my current phone.

I have a Sony Ericson z520a. I\'d post a picture but its such a crappy phone I\'m embarrassed I even own it. This is the second one I own and the second crapped out in less time than the first but I\'m stuck with it
