my new phone. i work on phones from home and sell them on ebay so i go through a lot of them. last week i had a palm treo 680, before that a BB 8800...

My iPhone came in today. Have to say, I friggin\' love this thing. I need to transfer all my ringtones over and what not from my Shadow, but I\'m having to much fun installing various APPS from third party sources.

Yeah, I got mine off Ebay. I got the first gen model, it\'s in perfect condition. Still has warranty left with it and the seller gave me the box and everything. He even included the original receipt from the store he bought it from.

I have an LG Chocolate - it was free and I don\'t text or surf the internet, but this has some nice features.  I have an iPod I use for music, so the mp3 capability on this phone was sort of pointless for me.

LIC - how much did you end up paying for 1st gen iPhone btw?  Was it unlocked?

We had ADT installed this weekend and the installer had one of those Ericsson (sp?) walkman phones - it looked pretty cool, too bad it isn\'t available through Verizon.

Was already unlocked. Excellent condition. Came with charger, case, box and even the original receipt for the warranty.

A friend of mine had a chocolate and absolutely HATED it.  Something about the buttons and being heat sensitive so they didn\'t work right.  Maybe it was a lemon phone, but she hated it with a passion.

Probably going to get an iPhone 3G soon. I\'m getting tired of Verizon\'s shitty customer service. I guess AT&T has an \'iPhone Package\' for new accounts where you can get the iPhone for 30 dollars (if you have good credit). And plus a Pandora Radio iPhone app is available... so I\'ll be able to have Pandora in the car... that\'ll be sweet. :)

got an Iphone 3G through work this week.
discounted rate plan since i don\'t like the blackberries they hand out and the 3g\'s have outlook integration.

only major complaint so far is battery life

Yeah the 8550 version, which I have, solved most of the complaints from the previous 2 versions, sensitive buttons, no locking feature, etc.  I have to say I am quite pleased with it.  However, the newest one that just came out is a flip phone and personally I like the slider version.

I have now dropped my little W880i thrice on cement floor.. Boyah, I think it was a gonner each time.. but its not. The only problem I can find is a small dent on the stainless steel front. Puh!

My brother got a Nokia *something* right before I got my W880i. He has had major issues with it, first the screen went to shit, it looks like mist is covering the top part of the display. And the battery life is really horrible now, which is weird. Li-Ion should be pretty stable? Whenever I talk to him now he has to plug his phone into a socket.
