ethernet connection problem
« on: January 12, 2008, 04:19:36 AM »
ever since I got this pc some 4 years or so ago, I have never been able to connect to the net using the ethernet cable that came with my modem.

at first, I thought it was a problem with the modem, and used the usb method to connect instead.

since I got my PS3, I have tried and successfully connected to the net using the ethernet cable, so I guess that rules out that as a the cause.

anyone have any ideas as to what is stopping me from connecting via ethernet?

I have no idea where to start on this one.
Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you. I don't care where you've  been or what you plan to do. I am the resurrection and I am the light. I  couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.

I take it you have tried different ethernet cables?  You also usually have to enable your ethernet card or onboard ethernet cable.

You\'ve probably already tried that stuff.. I\'ll think of more later
