He\'s right though. As much as I liked Ledger as an actor, I dont have much sympathy for poeple who OD and die. Its not like he got sent to iraq or was hit by a bus saving an old lady. He did too many drugs and died from it, whether he planned to or not.


Still sad though.

Now they are saying it was sleeping pills....

Sorry, I don\'t see it that way. Big difference in being an addict and accidently overdosing and killing yourself from depression. BIG fucking difference..

Not necessarily....well....partially atleast.

Depression has some gene connection according to many psychiatrists and it can be inherited. It is often not expressed until the right circumstances exist.

The person should pass through medical care in case he suffers from severe depression (melancholy is a different thing though). There are many people that can have tremendous skills and mental abilities, but once depression emerges they are not themselves. They become counterproductive despite that they have all kinds of abilities (which can also be in their genes).

Their brains simply dont produce the right substances to maintain a balance. So they need medical care, usually some form of antidepressants that help the brain produce the right chemicals, until it can produce them itself

RIP. I didn\'t believe my roommate when he told me. That\'s really unfortunate. I really enjoyed all the movies I saw him in. I was really looking forward to seeing him as the Joker.

Now this part I can agree with. I find it insane that so much attention is given to someone when they die , just because they are a "star". \\

Do I care? On some level, yes. He was a human and a great actor, but I don\'t think there should be some media circus, like there always is when a famous person dies.

And now the word is that he was sick with pneumonia and that it was most certainly an accidental overdose of perscription medication.

If that is the case, then it really does suck .

It is unfortunate that they create a media circus about it. If I was a celebrity, I would just want to die with dignity and just enough coverage where my fans would know. The word would go through the grapevine one way or another. I feel bad for him in a way because he died and the media is hyping it up. Sad that one day people will only label him as the actor who ODed instead of the fantastic work he did.

If he accidently Od\'d then yea,..it\'s a shame, but too many of these hollywood types almost always find their demise in overdosing.....it\'s like a cliche for them, and i don\'t feel sorry for them when they do it....they are in better place financially than most and yet some want to recklessly end their life in this manner,....yea, money isn\'t everything but i\'m sure i wouldn\'t mind havin\' some of that financial success that some of these celebs have,...and trust, i wouldn\'t be in some high priced hotel snortin\' my life away...

Again if he did indeed accidently od, then it\'s a shame....i\'m a wee bit skeptical tho....
