That "lot of us" is an insignificant number compared to the millions that bought the game and liked it. I repeat GT3 wasnt my favorite cup of tea either.

Despite that I find it selfish to over criticize a game simply because we dont like it, bought it for the graphics or [insert any other reason] while ignoring those that love it with a passion even for the "additions" that were made.

GT3 lost content btw because of time and budget constraints. Not simply to make it "look nicer". Needed much more resources to produce than on the PS1.

I\'ve heard it all now, it\'s "selfish" to criticize a game you don\'t like.

Brilliant. Just fuckin\' brilliant.

And I don\'t care why GT3 lost content compared to the previous. I don\'t need excuses. The fact remains it did lose content and in that respect, it is a lesser sequel. Yes, even with the pretty graphics.

As for GT4, it looks to be more of the same.. A fresh coat of paint and nothing else.
Didnt press the quote button but doesnt change the fact who replied to whom first in an effort to disagree. My post wasnt even directed to him

Also demonstrates his even worse than mine problem with reading comprehension. At least I can have an excuse since English isnt my first language

The fact remains - you don\'t like driving games, fine, no need to voice your opinion across the Internet multiple times. We get it. You don\'t like driving games. So go back to your RPG\'s or whatever.

I see your point.  You were quoting Phil and were explaining to Phil when Raz thought you were quoting to him so he commented back?

I doubt Raz thought I was replying to him. Yes I was talking to Phill. I accidentally annoyed Raz since due to his assumption and lack of reading comprehension he thought I said that nobody is allowed to criticize a game when he doesnt like it.

The only thing I tried to pass was that we (including me) cant generalize our negative perception or a not so great experience about a game\'s content/quality, based on our personal tastes. If someone doesnt like a game because of various personal reasons that doesnt make a game bad. This was not directed to Raz in any form.

Of course that got him although it was not my intention, because he fell into that category as he proved so many other times before. Even if he doesnt admit it in this thread. So he attacked my post.

Maybe you can\'t read also? I don\'t like simulations.  And I guess no one is allowed to state they don\'t like something now? Great logic there, bud.

He has no point. Even Phil thought he was responding to me, most likely, because he was.

And since you admit that it is just you then why do you suddenly take position and speak on behalf of those fans by bringing those arguments about the lack of "variable weather conditions" and "car damage"?

You mean, other than the fact that the "fans" have been asking for both things since the second one?

I never once attacked Uni\'s post. I simply said the gameplay put me to sleep and then others that didn\'t care for the game also posted.

Big whoop.

Prepare yourself for a bashing.

I remember the hype for GT3 , I bought it the day it came out and was bored to death.

I prefer the arcade style stuff.
-shrugs-

Yeah these threads are pretty much deja vu from 6 or 5 years ago when GT3 came out. "Omgawd look how pretty it is and look how many cars are in the game this time!....Fuck Yeah! GOTY!"

Track design and uh driving mechanics equal racer success.

And again proves my point that Raz thought I was responding to him  because he fell to the category.

But still loved it like no other for doing everything else so well that these omissions werent enough to ruin the experience?

Not enough to ruin the experience? Just ignored in every installment, right? The series, beyond graphics has not really progressed at all. If this was any other game, people would be pissed off, but because it\'s a gorgeous racing game, everyone forgives the obvious. The fact that every new one, is simply the previous with a fresh coat of paint.
