have a question:

I have my 360 plugged in with vga cables, and the sound is going into a pc speaker setup (logitech 5.1). Is there a way to get the ps3 plugged into that same speaker setup while still having the 360 in it? not sure what cables come with the ps3

I have an open hdmi slot so i was thinking of using that, but wouldnt that stop me from being able to use the speakers?

mainly want them on the ps3 for blu ray, but i still have most of my games on 360.

since the thread took a nice little left turn after my post

have a question:

I was wondering that myself since I have my PS3 connected currently on my surround system.

I am not sure if it can be done, but since on the PS3 there is a separate slot for HDMI and for AV cables, try having both connected on your PS3. Plug the red and white wires on to your speakers while you have the PS3 connected to your TV through HDMI.

I am not sure it its going to work but its is worth the try
