I think the forums should be modded by the regulars. It seems if this becomes a blog site, it will be run by us. I personally think any PSX2Central regular qualifies if they hadn\'t abused powers before

this isn\'t a bad idea, will think about how to implement.
however, it won\'t take much for some douchebag to abuse it.

What was Uni going to bring back in line? What was the single most disliked poster going to bring back into line? Honestly, I want to hear the logic on this one. I must know what you\'re smoking. Laugh at you want. But on the other hand, maybe it\'s true. Think about it. How many of your selected MODS either abused their power (myself included) or simply disappeared? The forum has basically died and I don\'t understand why you\'re not willing to accept that. How many regular posters do we have, compared to a few years ago? How many decent threads do we have? Hell, look at it this way. You, yourself said you can\'t get a decent intellectual debate going in this forum now. What does that say?

Don\'t confuse people stating their opinion as going "apeshit". I don\'t think anyone really cares, but a few of us are just throwing out what we think.  I honestly don\'t care what you do, I\'m not a MOD , it doesn\'t effect me. I just find your logic funny.

Newsflash. You already tried this. That is what got you into this mess. Almost every regular, at one point, has been a MOD for some forum or another. You need to go back to the old days, where there was very few MODS and it was something "special" (however dorky that sounds).

I was never for or against him. He has just as much a right to come in here and express his thoughts as anyone else. Whether you dislike him is not really my concern. My concern in here was to make sure everyone has a say in all topics, and to keep threads from turning into insult fests. One thing I never really stand for is just blatant insulting. Once the threads turned into a bunch of posts like "you\'re a moron" is when we step in. Except for Jumpman. Cause his bitterness entertains me.

Not a defeatist. A realist. I realize the chances of making another successful forum, with the current group, is almost impossible. I realize that attracting the attention needed to make a successful website, this late in the game is just plain unrealistic.

Do you honestly think the current members are going to do this blog stuff? Most of them don\'t even game . This has became more a forum for a few people to hang out and throw jabs and have fun. There\'s nothing wrong with that - so why break it? Sure, we throw insults out at each other, but does it really matter?

Once again, I\'m not trying to argue with you. I\'m merely offering a different opinion. If you want a community, the first step would be to actually interact with the community. You\'re making all these changes or planning on making them, without any input from the community. That may of worked when this forum was booming, but now, it\'s just short sighted. It\'s even more short sighted when you close membership and bank everything on a possible new site.
