This movie was pretty interesting. I just found out it was shot on a $6,000 Canon XL-H1 prosumer camera at a $50,000 budget! That\'s mighty impressive.

I like Michael Cimino films.

Thunderbolt and Lightfoot
The Deer Hunter
Heaven\'s Gate
Year of the Dragon

But none of those are my absolute favorites.

Paths of Glory is definitely a favorite, along with some other Kubrick films like The Killing.

This may sound strange, but the 1960 best picture winner The Apartment is also one of my favorites.  I\'m still not sure what I like so much about it.  It\'s actually many different things, so I guess that\'s part of the appeal.

"Stay with it, buddy boy!!!"  I still say that to people sometimes.  :)

Finally saw the signal....and yeah..it\'s everything mm stated it would be...well i actually thought it was a little bit better than how mm desribed it...it slightly reminded me of the movie "pulse" with the transmissions and all, and the beginning definitely had that "WTF is going on?" factor with it...:D...only real knock against it was in certain scenes the soundtrack went into a comedic theme when to me it should\'ve took on a more serious horror theme soundtrack...still..it\'s a good weekend rental...

Watched it last night. Thought the start was great but could not understand the switch to humor at all. Really took me out of it. It is quite impressive tho considering the very limited budget.
