Firefox 3.0 final released

Try putting \'about:robots\' in the URL bar.

Finally done with it.  Seems to run slower, embedded videos don\'t work when they did before, and the whole bookmark in url bar.  Back to 2.0.

Have no problem with it, not that much of a noticeable step above 2.0 but can\'t complain either.

Yeah, I suck at using computers. I can\'t install an application. I can\'t double click an icon. Also - everyone else who has problems, must suck at computers also.

I haven\'t had any issues, but seeing as others have, it seems like Firefox 3 wasn\'t quite ready for prime time. I\'m enjoying it, though. Haven\'t had any issues.

You seem very bitter, though. Is that your online persona or are you depressed in real life? Cuz I\'ve never had any problems with you on here. I just think you should chill a bit.

I had some issues with 3.0 at first.  Ended up being one of my old extensions wasn\'t compatible (it said it was) and it would crash FF3 only on certain websites.  Disabled the bad extension and it runs like a champ now :thumb:

I have the same issues as Bozco with the damn bookmarks always appearing in the address bar.  Also, FF really needs to fix this embedded video crap too.

downloaded 3.0 and installed it, everything ran fine until my comp crashed.

when I started it up and sat through the scandisk shit, I started FF and found that all my bookmarks had been deleted, along with my RSS feed links.

I tried to import from IE again, but when I did, I found 3 copies of every bookmark, and the RSS links were now in my bookmark folder instead of the bookmarks toolbar.

what made it worse, is that for some reason, it wouldn\'t let me delete them in the bookmark organizer.

the only course of action was to completely uninstall (personal data files too) FF, then reinstall it.

I then had to go through the proceedure of downloading all the plugins I had before, config them all to how I had them, THEN import the bookmarks and re-add the RSS feeds.

must have taken me the best part of an hour to get it back to something like it was before.

oh, and I also have to re-add my passowrds to the password manager, which is annoying as fuck.
