I wonder what\'s gonna happen when they don\'t have that oil money rolling in in like 50 years.

I think that\'s why they\'re transforming their country into a massive vacation spot.

@Luke...yeah..that\'s the other hotel out on the water that i was referring to....it almost looks like a sailboat..:p

Does it really matter in 50 years? Their reserves only make up 6% of their income as it is now.

I just wonder if they can lease/sell all of that space they are creating. Thats going to be one helluva job.

That vid luckee posted had that underwater hotel out on the water that i was talking about....crazy...that island of hotel and resorts that look like a palm tree out on the water is also incredible....an indoor ski area,...an amuesment park 3 times the size of disneyworld?....these cats are doin\' it big over there...:fro:....when construction is finally finished over there it is going to be one massive tourist trap,....they have the money and more than enough land to build it upon.

I ve seen the construction areas, the palm islands and the most luxurious hotel in the world (the one that looks like a sailboat) :)

If you see them in real life it is even more impressive.

Their aerial railways are also very impressive looking. It goes through buildings, under bridges etc etc. They will be offering train services throughout Dubai to reduce traffic.

I ve also heard about a space park of some sorts where they will try to simulate in some areas lack of gravity. I am not sure how true that is though and how they will do it

I ve taken some pictures but unfortunately they are blurry

This is good. We\'ll need good places to abandon to when it finally hits the fan in the U.S., right?

he\'s on a 3 year contract, with an option to extend it after that time.

if he stays on for 10 years, he\'ll be rolling in money, his accomodation is dirt cheap too.
