Right, and this is why Chicago has one of the worst school systems in the country.

It takes effort from both the students and teachers and parents to make the educational system work,..you can implement the newest pc\'s and books in any school, but if the student, teacher or parent is not operating to the best of their ability, then the system will not work, but it comes down to the individual,...the elementary schools i went to had the oldest books you could find,...and i had honor roll up until around my junior year in high school....accountability is what matters.

But the overall point is that Obama worked with this guy to improve the situation of the school system which is a GOOD thing, yet you folks are trying desperatley to act like he hangs out with terrorists and act like he shares this guys views on why he did what he did years ago when Obama was 8 years old......and the thing that is scary is that giga is actually believing this craziness....

Good leaders get things done.  If the people of Chicago didn\'t respond to Obama\'s plan, what makes you think America will?

Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

When the cops do their job and stop all that gangbanging, maybe pc\'s wont get stolen and teachers/students wont be afraid to come to school.

Oh please.  This is a partisan witch hunt.  Even the panel said it "wasn\'t the only factor".  Lets talk more about ACORN, Ayers and Wright.  Those are more legitimate than this trash.

"Ahead of Friday\'s hearing, Palin supporters wearing clown costumes and carrying balloons denounced the investigation as a "kangaroo court" and a "three-ring circus" led by supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

The state senator managing the investigation, Sen. Hollis French, fueled those complaints with a September 2 interview in which he warned the inquiry could yield an "October Surprise" for the GOP."

and...

"I find that, although Walt Monegan\'s refusal to fire trooper Michael Wooten was not the sole reason he was fired by Governor Sarah palin, it was likely a contributing factor to his termination as Director of Public Sagety. In spite of that, Governor Palin\'s firing of Commissioner Monegan was a proper and lawful exercise of her constitutional and statutory authority to hire and fire executive branch department heads."

Uhm...calm down...take a breath...release and repeat...i never thought this was a big deal anyway, but she was acting like she had something to hide, and the fact remains that part of the reason she fired him was because of her dislike of that state trooper. And i answered the Acorn issue in another thread and wright is already a non-issue and a closed chapter. The market is at it\'s lowest level in years and yet McCain acts like these gossip ad issues are more important than the economy....he\'s becoming more and more irrelevant and his whole campaign has lost all sense of integrity and is the joke of this presidential race.
