Although Apples commercials are entertaining, I think the attacks they use are pretty pointless. Most of those people who have problems like they describe in the ads are people who don\'t do any system maintenance or are computer illiterate. For example, my roommates.
Well, the world is full of people like your roommates, so that\'s probably who Apple is targeting anyway. A big demographic.
And it doesn\'t really matter if the attacks are pointless, the image they paint stays with you. The only time I\'ve used Macs, I\'ve cursed trying to right click the one button mouse. Those might be artifacts nowadays, but even I\'m of the impression that Macs are good for media and are just cooler somehow. And I hated my time using one, so the ads are effective on some level regardless of how pointless.
