definitly sad to see shanahan go, but its time to move on. theyve tried fixing the defense with numourous players/aquisitions, and the offense is awesome, so the next logical step is to try a new coach..definitly need another linebacker and a saftey, but i think the coaches were the main problem on the defensive side. and they were 90% at fault of the offensive struggles (10% for the 7 RB\'s being sent to IR)..but even then, tatum bell was able to run the ball really well, so his coaching worked in the sense they could get yards and they coached the o-line amazingly..but he still chose to throw the ball 35-40+ times a game. still cant figure out why hed to that

Not really a broncos fan, but i kinda hate to see him leave....as long as he\'s been there the broncos were always contenders....even those years where the broncos didn\'t make it to the playoffs, they were still a tough team to defeat.
knowledge, wisdom & understanding..these are the basic fundamentals of life

if you can\'t amaze them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh*t....

Twenty one years is long enough. It\'s time to make a change. Good move for the Broncos and a good move for what ever team picks him up.

Ok, prediction time:

Wildcard
Falcons over Cardinals
Chargers over Colts
Ravens over Dolphins
Eagles over Vikings

I\'m going against the grain the the Chargers, but everyone picks the Colts every year, and all but once they have failed.  I\'m tired of that team, and no team has a better chance than the Chargers.  I\'ll stick with the favorites everywhere else.  Also note, no NFL MVP has won the Superbowl (ever I think).

Divisional
Panthers over Falcons
Giants over Eagles
Ravens over Titans
Chargers over Steelers

The hardest game for me to pick in this round was the Giants/Eagles game cause the Eagles will come in hot.  However, when in doubt, go with the defending champs.  Ravens/Titans was kinda tough too, and as much as I like the Titans, they just haven\'t been playing well.  Steelers/Chargers, another tough one, but the Steelers seem to not play well when big ben is shaken up.  Panthers I think just out class the falcons.

Championship games
Panthers over Giants
Ravens over Chargers

This is where things get interesting.  Just like the Giants went on a revenge tour last year, I think the Panthers get the better end of it in this meeting.  Ravens/Chargers is a crapshoot to me.  Honestly, as sad as it is that an 8-8 team is even in the playoffs, its hard to ignore the momentum they\'re on.  However, nothing halts momentum like Baltimore\'s defense.

Superbowl

Panthers over Ravens

I think experience plays out in this game.  Panthers have tasted the superbowl before (but lost to my Pats).  They have an unbelievable running game, and a good defense (aside from the run defense).  It wouldn\'t shock me either way, but I\'ll go with good ole John Fox when the game is on the line.

They\'re a bigger rival than anyone in our division, would you expect any less? As a Colts fan, you have to admit the chargers have been a thorn in your side.

Falcons
Colts (i had to change it since tomlinson is hurt badly. rivers has been playing well, but now their runs up the middle will be shit. sproles is only good when tomlinson is taking the beating with the hard runs then he comes in with a sweep and burns everyone. not so much now)
Ravens
Eagles

Falcons
Giants
Ravens
Steelers

Giants
Steelers

Steelers

looks like tomlinson is more hurt than i thought. if he plays like hes played the first 2/3rds of the year, then the chargers will play like theyve played most of the year and lose pretty decidingly

Colts choke again against the Chargers, and I\'ll admit the refs didn\'t help, but it warms my heart. :)

Two great games today, I hope the rest of the playoffs are like this. Congrats AZ and SD fans!

Best thing for San Diego will be not having to play the Pats in the playoffs this year.  Who knows, they could go all the way.

My pick for the superbowl is Denver and Philly

Oh shit, I did say that.  Yikes! What was I thinking?

I could still be half right.
