Guess what I bought today?
« on: October 11, 2008, 01:38:07 PM »

05 CTS. Black exterior and interior. Only 35k miles on it. Perfect condition. One owner who was an old lady and took REALLY good care of it.

I\'m so happy with it. Always wanted a Caddy.

Why is it when you buy a car at a dealership, the previous owner is always an old lady?

My dad manages a used car dealership, he\'ll occasionally say it was previously owned by a school teacher to mix it up a bit if the old lady line doesn\'t feel quite right.
Wrong. There are two other people who can.

Yeah I know... I thought the same thing.

But... This car had alot of little touches that told me this was actually the truth.

Like one of those little rounds close up mirros on the side view mirrors that old people use.

Looks great, love the color.

I sold my car 2 months ago and do the zipcar (hourly rental) thing in DC.  Saving so much money but I miss having my own wheels

you got rid of the max?..say it ain\'t so!!,...uhm i know i\'ve stated this before, but there\'s a good possibility that you could\'ve gotten close to 400,000 miles outta that thing,..at least that\'s how much i\'ve gotten out of my 92 maxima..:D....by the time i was done with it, it looked like one of those broke down futuristic cars from blade runner....:p

I deed it.  I take the metro to work everyday since I got a new job in DC.  Plus my gf moved in so I can either use hers or walk down the street to rent the zipcar, so at least I have options. ;)

It\'s pretty quick. Nothing special but defiantly the fastest car I\'ve ever owned.
