He clearly stated he disliked how the party was going further and further to the right. And resigning in 2004 is actual proof too in case you wanna try and dodge that point too.

I don\'t see how you can even argue against this blow to the McCain side. He\'s the only guy to come out of the Bush admin completely unscathed. Everything he\'s ever said is done so in a clear and intelligent manner and his recent views are no different. I\'d vote him president of the world if I could.

Again I state, I am not a big McCain fan, and he is no where near far to the right.

Obama won this election a while back, I just wonder how many of you will still want him in 2012 when he\'s up for re-election.  Right now being anti-Republican is popular, but lets not forget its easy to hate now... but Bush WAS re-elected in 2004 despite being fairly well disliked.

(Sunday, October 19 - Filed by Mark Williams in Raton, New Mexico with the Stop Obama Tour)  We learned at this morning’s Stop Obama Rally here that the McCain/Palin Straight Talk Express came through town yesterday.  It arrived with a window shattered by a .22 caliber weapon.  It had also been hit by an unknown number of paint balls from a paint ball gun or guns.  There were reportedly no injuries and neither candidate was on board.

One local man who saw the damage and spoke with the McCain/Palin staffers said the attack(s) had occured in southern New Mexico that same day.  The Express is traveling the country independent of the candidates, handing out campaign materials.

Sarah Palin is stumping in of all places Roswell, New Mexico today and then roughly back the way we came with an event at the Henderson, Nevada Pavilion tomorrow and a stop in Elko, Nevada.

And Obama has control over these people?...and before you say anything in relation to those idiots at McCain rallys, Obama has never tied McCain to terrorists, or tried to challenge his patriotism and say that you can\'t trust him...McCain in that sense has incited his supporters with such rhetoric, and they are strongly voicing their opinions and responding to what is being said of Obama at those rallys, no matter how incredibily ignorant they are.

If Obama has said some hateful and some inciteful statements then yeah,..but he has only attacked McCain on the issues, so you cannot blame him for anything that somebody might do on their own.....and look at your last statement,..see Obama was right,..you conservatives DO stick to your guns...

If you polled whites, I\'d guess they\'re probably 50/50, maybe slightly favor Obama.

If you polled blacks, that number probably jumps to 99/1 in favor of Obama.

I don\'t care what you say, its still racism.  So much for putting the past behind us.  This is part of the reason there are still race relation issues in America.  It\'s not just the whites, its both sides.  I wish it were like the old days when all you had were radio broadcasts of the candidates and you never got to see what they looked like.  I wonder what this election would look like then, my guess is that if this were taking place in the 40\'s/50\'s anyone voting for Obama would be thought of as a communist.

I know, this is all speculative, but nothing has really disproved my theory.

I don\'t agree...if hillary was the nominee,.. trust,...you\'d see the same amount of blacks votin\' for her...again because he\'s black you guys wanna say that all blacks are votin\' for him cause he\'s black...ok,..so why didn\'t we all vote for sharpton?,..y\'know that guy takes up for blacks every chance he gets, so surely he should\'ve recieved the black vote right?....nope...again most blacks supported kerry.

Yes there are some that are voting cause he\'s black, but most blacks aren\'t...Obama is a smart, savy intelligent guy and he already showed that he can go neck and neck with McCain on foreign policy issues and he speaks with strong conviction and he also has a likability factor,...now there\'s also the historic side of it, mainly for alot of older black folks that have seen and been thru rough times in the 40\'s 50\'s and 60\'s,..they never thought they see the day when an afri. american would have a chance at the highest position in the country.

Some may call that racism, but i don\'t,...not when the man himself is merely more than being black, he has vision and he has solid plans for the country and he\'s shown that he\'s ready to lead.
