As a dude who has played that demo for hours and hours on the PC. To the point I can carry a team of 3 shitty players on expert as long as I am there. I have to say L4D is going to live or die entirely on its map community at least for PC gamers anyways.
Even with the random regeneration of enemies and weapons, if you play the maps enough, you will have them down pat in no time. Being fair tho, the demo is about 15 minutes long with a full good team and I don\'t know how long the main game is going to be. They need to make the boss fights guaranteed in every level.
The boss known as "Tank" can wipe out a team or at least half of it almost every time you see him on expert. The Witch however, another boss is way too easy. She attacks and usually kills at least 1 member, the guy who woke her. After that she usually just wonders around with the 3 other team members pupping ammo into her until she dies. Her HP pool isn\'t that impressive, her damage is off the charts tho. Even worse sometimes she will awake, kill the 1 guy who woke her, and then just run away and you don\'t even have to fight her
Team damage is a must have for this game and i\'m glad there is no option to turn it off. It forces you to pick your shots and be aware of where your team mates are.
Also in the demo we don\'t get to play as the infected, so I look forward to seeing how much more replay value that adds to the game. Console owners I would definitely say to wait for the reviews to come out and see what the players have to say about its lifespan, if you have a PC I would suggest that is the best platform to play it on because community updates are guaranteed.
But if your like me and will buy almost anything zombie related its not gonna matter how short it is. The game itself regardless of how short it is, is a total blast and a lot of fun.
