Well, I saved her room on the memory list. :) The plus side to this is I get to fight Cronus after! And I feel he\'s the best part of the game!

I lose patience if I die constantly in god of war. but the only fight that gave me a hard time on normal was in the labyrinth.

with the fire cerberus that spits out exploding dogs AND those pain in the ass darth maul guys with the double edge sword/staff thing. I had to turn the game off it was pissing me off..then it took me like 3 er 4 times after I went back to playing.

so i dunno if I have the patience to do titan mode or the challenges.

That was definitely my favorite part. I wish they had chapter selects so I could just replay that part when I wanted

I had maxed out  the fist lion thing weapon on that part and it didn\'t seem all that bad. you can [] [] [] endlessly the darth maul without getting hit and if they go underground pull them back with L1 + O
can\'t see why not!

those arent the guys that go underground. They block a lot of your attacks and jump around like crazy. and 2 or 3 of them are on the screen since more of them pop up after cutting off each head. The easiest way to kill them is to press circle and take their staff away, then kill them (or head butt them..but its easy to re-grapple). The problem was the exploding dogs kept you from grappling

I found spamming the bow and arrow the best strategy, to get rid of the cerberus asap

Well.. if you have a saved game there, try the fist thing :) the dog die one hit and the blocking dude will only block the 1st attack and rarelly counter. Once they get hit you can chain attack them untill they die.. anyway, for these guys I fiound the electric weapon to work best, but it\'s too dangerous because that weapon makes you jump all the time and it\'s hard to control when you will land with all those spikes appearing! :)

1 challenge lfet to complete.

What to do with that damn fat monster with chains, which you tear the heart, and destroy it, but he lives again. I must wring the heart more
times consecutively?  3, 4 times ?  I\'m playing at Titan, and never played a GOW game before, and I\'m really too busy with Uncharted2; I should put more effort and time on GOW3, if I want to finish it.

Are you talking about Hades himself? Hit and run, hit and run. Patience is the key with this guy. Melee works sometimes but the last hit could get you countered.

BTW, I finished all the challenges. The toughest was the part where I have to be turned to stone 10 times. Jeez. To get the medusas to stone me, I try to grapple, it fails and it makes them use their stoning spell. I press block but intentionally fail the reflect button sequence. This makes me turn to stone faster. Otherwise, the other monsters will attack me when I DO turn to stone and that kills me instantly.

Yeah, all out melee don\'t work against boss. you need study their moves and attacks and you attack when you see their opening :)

it\'s the only challenge left for me, the medusa.

yep, it should be Hades.

I\'ve noticed, as you stated, that it\'s better to hit and run. then I jump on him, stabbing him repeatedly, then pull out his heart and destroy it, crawling on the ground.
But, how many consecutive times you have do it? I cannot remember, but I think I did it 2 or 3 times, and  Hades raises again, and again.
Ony tried one night, for half an hour, so I\'m not sure if I did it for 2 OR 3 times consecutively.

You have to kill the flesh you cut out before it gets back to Hades or else you start over again.

Have you tried the Challenges ?? I took 2 shoot to beat the 1st one. then almost a complete hour of retries without success for the 2nd challenge. This is madness ! but pretty cool :D

As for Titan Mode.. I don\'t know. I died a couple time in boss fight here and there. But none were all that hard. I never died in normal melee. I think I died over 200 times over failed double jump which won\'t change a damn between normal and titan mode :)

I assume the challenges are unlocked after you beat the game, right? I\'m right at the end now, so I guess I\'ll find out soon enough.

Been dragging my heels on finishing this game for some reason.

Yeah that hades fight was tough for me...i tried to straight up brawl with him but he\'s just too tough...i try not to put too  much distance between myself and him tho,..because i kept getting hit with his long range attacks.

And Kratos is just unrelenting.....i mean the way he kills these gods...i kinda felt a bit sorry for them....kratos is showing them absolutely no mercy......and why am i getting the feeling that kratos is the bad guy here? I honestly feel like the gods are the good guys....

I kinda felt this way in prt2 a bit as well...but i really feel like kratos is evil in this one...i\'m not at the end yet...(i\'m currently at that maze of gardens?)...i mean he\'s really just mad cause he can\'t get rid of his nightmares right?...(which is kind of a silly plotpoint)....and "Ares" the original god of war tricked him into killing his family in the first one, so he already had his revenge there...

The whole revenge for not erasing my memories is a bit weak, but the journey to this conclusion has been a non-stop beautifully crafted action romp!!

I just wanted to add.....i did notice that i didn\'t have to load ANY game data for this game...i just went to new game, and it just started. Every other ps3 game i had so far, i had to load huge chunks of game data before i could play it...not sure how those folks pulled it off.

Screw it. I\'m spoiling the game.

WARNING: SPOILER!

Why did they include a Guitar Hero mini-game in the story? THAT WAS STUPID! Ugh! And ending was kinda weak. I was kinda expecting a tie in with Christianity....since the flooding, the pestilence, disease....it reminds me of what Moses did to the Egyptians. :)

Yeah i agree....i thought the ending was weak as well....i was expecting a more dramatic and satisfying ending. Not sure where the series can go from here, but at least kratos story is closed.
