i liked some of the ideas of star trek when i started to get into astronomy, life on other planets, and stuff like that, but whenever i tried to watch it it\'d bore the shit out of me

but this movie does seem pretty action oriented so it should be fun to watch.

I always thought it was really boring as well. Not sure what to think of the movie yet.

we should turn this into an \'upcoming movies\' thread. seems like a bunch of good flicks coming out between now and may with this, terminator, wolverine, watchmen..thats all i have off the top of my head

Agreed on Star Trek being boring... But I trust JJ Abrams so I\'ll check out the movie.

Maybe not until it comes out on Blu Ray though.

Speaking of upcoming movies... Heres one I\'m looking forward to.

The only star trek series that i\'ve ever liked was the series from the 60\'s...the cheesy lines and laughable fight scenes were entertaining....and capt. Kirk and Spock was the s**t back then! As far as the new terminator flick?...i was kinda ready to give up on the series after the last one...but this one here does look interesting, i also felt that this movie had a transformer type feel to it.

But that was mainly because of the huge robot that i witnessed in the trailer...could be good tho....that one robot now thinking it\'s human will put an interesting twist on the situation.

Wolverine will suck. Big time.

Watchmen will be mediocre at best.

Star Trek has potential.

Terminator : Salvation, should rock.

My opinion on Wolverine depends on what they do with Deadpool.

For what its worth, I thought Watchmen was pretty damn good; however, I could see people losing interesting if they haven\'t read the graphic novel.

Watchmen was awesome. They retained all the best scenes, and they weren\'t afraid to go for the full on R rating.
They didn\'t dumb it down for the mass audience. I don\'t care if some people don\'t like it.
I\'m just happy it was completed at such a high level of quality.

I\'m very curious to see Watchmen.

At first I was excited for Wolverine...now i\'m just taking a wait and see attitude.

Terminator looks great. I still love bale. Crazy temper and all.
