so what is your favourite map so far? I love favela myself, lots of rooftop & back alley fighting.

my choice will probably change when I manage to unlock the claymores and start sniping.

not the most unique map, but I like invasion. Nice mix of close quarter combat and long-range, with only a few sniper spots. Im one who always bitches about camping, and it\'s pretty easy to get behind people on that map. except that damn mannequin room makes it look like a guy is standing in front of me...gets me every time

VGChartz preliminary day one figures puts the sales to date (including the midnight launches) at over 7 million copies worldwide across Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Around 55% of sales are on Xbox 360, 33% on PS3 and the remaining 12% on PC. In terms of regional breakdowns, over 4.2 million units were sold in the Americas (3.7 million USA), 1.2 million in the UK and 350,000 each in France and Germany.

Based on the day one figures and the Tuesday release, week one figures should come in at close to ten million units which smashes the 5.92 million week one record set by Grand Theft Auto 4 last year and positions Modern Warfare 2 as the most successful game launch of all time.

In fact, even on a single format (Xbox 360), week one sales are projected to come in at around 5.5 million units - this alone is enough to be the fastest-seller of all time, even without the PS3 and PC versions as you can see below:

think you\'ll know my response bizio. I\'ve avoided spoilers so I know know exactly what\'s in AC2 or for a fact that these things are in it, but the main complains people had about AC1 (which was a very good game) have been fixed in AC2.

while MW2 is great and fun, it is another shooter. there\'s not many, if any, games to replace assassins creed (that is if you like the gameplay)

I\'m a little more tempted to buy AC2, I missed the first one, and the sequel promises really good.   COD is spectacular, and though it is another FPS, I have to admit that even for it I have the mouth watering.   I\'m still not sure 100%;  as you said, there isn\'t a Game like AC2 on PS3 or 360, so it would be the better choice for me;  err, it\'s not easy.  I will think a bit more.

yeah, I know what you mean, I\'ve wasted half a round of ammunition on that mannequin a few times so far.

I had issues with trying to do private matches. I only got one, and it was Vid & I running around the afghan thing by ourselves. Vid killed me 3 times.I work with 4 guys who have this for ps3, so I hope they sort it out.

I think that\'s the same problem I was having when I tried to invite friends into a party. from what I\'ve been reading, they have sorted it now. we should have a big session at some point

I had an epic game on favela last night... just got headshot after headshot and racked up a ton of kills.  I like this map just a little more now than I did before, lol

it\'s a cracking map eh? I had a game the other night where I dropped a care package with a sentry gun, then another sentry gun after 5 kills, then called in a harrier after 7 kills and ended up with a 28-3 score at the end

I kept stealing the other team\'s care packages as well... I saw this big ass box just sitting there... took about 10 seconds to open it or whatever and got a predator missle and by luck ended up killing the guy who dropped it along with like 5 other guys... made my night.

Watch out for those care packages!  I\'ve been killed by two of them so far. One I just spawned in the wrong place and the first was my own. I ran up to it too fast before it stopped bouncing around and it fell over on me.
