buy any games?

might want to hold off on uncharted. heard the last update causes freezing and naught dog has to patch the game for it to work. not sure when theyll fix it

Picked up Madden 2010. Probably go to gamestop tomorrow. What are some good games to checkout?  Thinking of going back and getting jedi unleashed right now. I love star was and they had it for 29.99 but I didn\'t get.

I only played the unleashed demo. Was pretty good but I wasn\'t into it enough to purchase it, but my friend likes it a lot.

there any genres you hate/like more than others?

either way, id recommend metal gear 4, killzone 2, resident evil 5..uncharted when they fix it. All of those games have a demo. I always like going through the whole list of demos and trying out a bunch of new games

So far I am loving the slim. I went and picked up saints row 2. I played the first one and like so. Probably go check out mgs4 tomarrow they didn\'t have it the store.

Didn\'t come with the HDMI cable. I have a two high def tvs. Currently have the ps3 hooked up to my phillips 1080p through av. Is is worth it to go out and buy the cable?

Befriend someone who works at an electronics store.  The markup on cables are ridiculous, but usually employee discount brings it down to somewhere around 7-10 bucks.

if you can\'t find inexpensive hdmi cables at store, buy online like http://www.monoprice.com or http://www.bluejeanscable.com.

yeah, I bought mine over monoprices. with 2 USB extension cable for the controller. with shipping to canada it cost 21.83$ :D (that was 2 years ago)

If you like fighting game dont miss Street Fighter4. If you like platformer and cute game Little Big Planet. There\'s also some great game off the PSN and they do come out on sales from time to time. Don\'t miss out WipeoutHD. A great game, complete at a very low price for the end product.

Congratulations man ;)

I loved Uncharted, R&C, MGS4, LBP, KZ2 and R2.   All are great games, it depends from your taste.
I liked Mirror\'s Edge as well, but it\'s a very peculiar game, not for everybody, and it\'s multiplatform...
Ninja Gaiden Sigma2 is going to be released in the end of September, than Uncharted2(13 Oct in America), R&C2 on 27th Oct(Europe).

edited: Infamous is great too, and as Nolaws already said, WipeoutHD is fantastic !

Thanks for the find vid. It was only 4.94 with shipping great find. I went and looked at eb games yesterday and they want 29.99 for the Hdmi and they wanted 24.99 for Composite cable. I was like wtf

I did not know R&C was out. I\'ll be going to the store later on to see if they got it. Love that series. I haven\'t seen it at any stores I been too so far.

The new R&C isn\'t out for a month or so.

Infamous is awesome if you play on the hardest setting.  It\'s very easy on the other levels.  Graphics are great though.  Desperately needs multiplayer though.  Sucks.  Great game sits on the shelf because I finished it already.
