I ordered my damn at the gates dvd and xbox live on april 21st from amazon and STILL havent gotten my shit (I usually get live subscriptions at a retail store but they had it for 40 bucks).

granted i picked the free shipping, but jesus.

not to mention their tracking system is balls. Even on amazon\'s site the last thing recorded was april 26th of the thing leaving las vegas.

never really realized how much I use live, so i guess this made me see that it\'s definitely worth 50 bucks.

The free shipping option is 5-10 business days right?   Assuming it shipped the next day we are on business day #7.

And yes USPS tracking sucks.  It\'s more of an insurance thing than anything else.

fuck usps and fuck amazon

I emailed amazon asking them what\'s up with my shipment, and if I could just get an update on where it is since the last/only update was april 26th, and it\'s been a week after the estimated delivery date

Then without even asking they put in another order.

So if I get two packages, I either have to refuse the guy shipping my shit that i\'ve been waiting for and wait another 5 days for the other one, or return it if it gets delivered when I\'m not home.

I asked if I could keep the one that arrives first and return the 2nd shipment, but they said no...which makes no fucking sense. what the fuck is the difference?

I guarantee the first shipment is just running behind. I\'ve never seen a package just get lost. so I\'m certain i\'ll end up with 2 shipments and have added work since they couldnt just answer my question before shipping another one


edit: maybe i read it wrong. "If the original order reaches you before the replacement. You can refuse the extra package." That means I can open the original and refuse the 2nd shipment right?

This is why i can\'t be bothered with ordering s**t online....it\'s a pain in the a$$( i especially don\'t like to give my personal info over the net as well)...if i could go to the store directly and purchase the item, i\'ll do that...

Amazon has had some of the best customer service I\'ve ever had to deal with. Chances are all the issues you are having are coming from the marketplace seller being a piece of shit, not amazon.

yea i take back the \'fuck amazon\' thing. Guess they did the right thing not waiting a few more days to make sure the package was lost since I still havent received the first one, and I got the replacement one last friday

but still....fuck usps

I still think amazon purposefully made their free shipping way crappier than it used to be in order to get consumers to pay for shipping or amazon prime. Makes sense business wise since amazon is great, but its still skeezy
