Assassins Creed Revelations

They\'ve yet to make an AC trailer not kick ass. The songs they pick are always perfect but not really what you\'d expect

Ubisoft is getting some flak for putting these games out every year, but I\'m even more excited about revelations than I was about brotherhood (which I ended up loving and putting a lot of time into it..but at the time it was announced I was a bit burned out after AC2).

I like what theyre doing with Altair. Seems like you play as Ezio following Altair\'s path (probably using eagle vision to see altair). And I guess portions of the game you play as altair.

It\'s set during the ottoman empire so the setting will be more similar to AC1.

Think that I have AC2 and I didn\'t finish yet, damn I don\'t have enough time to play. Same for Mass Effect2, hopefully next month I\'ll finish both.

I\'ll stay tuned on Assassins Creed Revelations, looking very interesting, as usual :)

played it a few hours.

The first bit of the game to get you into the story was pretty disappointing. I was excited about re-visitng Masayf and interacting with altair, but it happens from the get-go and is really underwhelming (no build-up or seeming to give a shit that you\'re seeing a ghost-version of altair). Then the stealth kills were really contrived and it was 90% fighting/action

Then the game opened up when you get to the main world and I remembered why I loved the series. Having 5 guards in a certain radius that you need to take down and trying to do it one by one without anyone noticing..awesome.

I was worried it was going to move away from stealth and get to too much action, but it stayed pretty tried-and-true to assassins creed brotherhood.

I do kind of feel theyre hurting the series and making releases less special by having yearly releases..but I\'m still having a lot of fun with the game which i guess is most important. Still a little worried that there won\'t be a big jump in quality from this to AC3 when it would be a shame not to tap all of the series\' potential by the end of this storyline...at this rate they have too far to go and too many big changes to see them in a year.

Crossing my fingers they add a cover system
