yeah. i remember the first time my mom introduced me to acupuncture was in summer of 2002 when the left side of my head was in such severe pain. maximum pain that is. i think it was in either july or august when my mom took me to an acupuncture clinic. this guy did a great job puncturing the left side of my head where there is in discomfort and severe pain.
i pointed to him where most of the pain and the discomfort is, and he punctured it spot it. the only spot where i didn\'t want him to puncture is the scar on the upper left side on the back of my head because it wasn\'t a lump but a scar, kind of like a dent where it clogged the blood and oxygen. so i didn\'t tell him about it.
the lumps on the upper left side of my forehead, it never crossed my mind that should be acupuncture too. so that area weren\'t puncture though.
so anyway, i lay down in bed sideway for like 15 minutes, and it was done. i didn\'t feel anything different pretty much though. can\'t really remember but i think the doctor asked me if i feel better and i think i said i am not sure or something like that. i think on my way home when my mom drove me, i could feel the left temple untangled, like it was tangled from years of clogging and then its untangled. i think i told her about it. i think i feel relax too. so, at night, i feel a lot less irritated and i don\'t feel paranoid anymore.
i remember my mom was playing solitaire that night and my oldest brother was staring at me and i didn\'t feel paranoid or uncomfortable when he look at me for like a long time. i remember telling my mom that i don\'t feel uncomfortable that he stare at me.
so, the next day, we have acupuncture done again. again, i feel better within 30 minutes. i remember the doctor telling me to do it for 3 times.
so, the 3rd time, i was thinking that might be the last time, so i remember seeing picture of a human structure where the acupuncture should be done. i wanted to try different spot because on the lower left of the back of my head, i could feel the bruise and i could feel the ache when i touch it.
one of the picture diagrams, it should like needles acupuncture on the top of the head on both the left and right side. like a mohawk where the needles line up straight on both the sides of the head. so i tried that method of acupuncturing the left side of my head - in hoping it would get rid of the clogged on the lower left side on the back of my head.
after 15 minutes was over, i stood up, then like a minute or so, i fall into a seizure. my whole entire body was trembling. i think the doctor was freaking out too. so he warmed both my feet with heat from from sort of fire paper or something. at least it warmed my feet but it didn\'t get rid of the seizure.
for like 10 minutes or so, i was shaking. i think the trembling reduce somewhat, and then doctor let me go and my mom drove me home. i remember being next to my mom at home as i was still trembling. i think i didn\'t stop shaking until like 2 hours after i have the seizure. i think i got something like a fever afterward, and my mom cooked me soft food and i ate it and i throw up because of the fever.
i think i still throw up the next day during eating a meal.
anyway, a couple months later or so, my mom took me to a different acupuncture doctor. this time in los angeles. very far away which seem like over an hour drive.
this time, the doctor put like 3 needles in me i think. two on top of my head and one in my left hand. and this doctor is different where i have to lay down in bed for 1 hour long. i remember wanting to go to pee but too scare to ask him. so i waited for one hour long before he removed the needles and i went to pee right away.
i think i was trembling mildly after the acupuncture on my head. i remember my feet were shaking as i put on my shoes before we left. i remember my brother-in-law were there too. i think i told my mom and him that i was kind of trembling mildly from the acupuncture but they didn\'t really concern much about it.
i remember still shaking mildly sitting inside the car as she drove me home for like 15 to 20 minutes before it go away. now thinking about it, i think it mostly because of the needles sticking on top of my head where there were no lumps causes the tremor. on top left and right side near the center of my head that is. i suppose, some doctor do things differently.
because of that, i think i didn\'t dare having acupuncture done from any doctors for a long time.
i remember in january of 2003, my mom finally took me to a plastic surgery doctor to remove the scar on the top left side of my head. she wanted me to have a nose surgery where the doctor burn the meat in my nostrils. because of that, i wanted to do both, head scar removal and nose surgery too. we made an appointment to have the surgeries done.
so, at night time that day after the surgeries i think, i was struggling breathing properly and i remember sitting in the hall crying a little bit for like an hour or so before i could almost breathe normally.
anyway, i think it was in february is when i actually feel the pain where the scar is reduce a lot and my hair finally lay down more. like its relaxing. i remember my hair was sticking up like a year before, and finally the hair finally lay down, especially the right side of my head where the hair is pretty much completely lay down while the left side is partially lay down. i remember my skin looks healthier and a lot less dried too. i also gained weight too. i was like 30 pounds underweight before the surgery and i think i gained like 15 pounds a month after the surgery? i didn\'t weight myself though but i know i gained weight though.
so, we paid the surgeon doctor a visit again and i think my mom told him the pain reduce a lot, and i feel better and she told him the scar is still there and probably smaller, and that i wanted to remove the scar completely. this time he told us to wait for 3 months after the surgery to remove the scar again.
so we waited till april to remove the scar. within hours after the surgery. like 3 to 5 hours later, i remember i was taking a shower and i had the shower head on to cover the scar. and i could feel the hair on the left side of my head lay down more. i think it lay down almost completely. must be the blood and oxygen flow through a lot better now.
so after the shower, i also feel the skin on my body feel healthier. less dry, smoother and shinier. the lips also feel the same too. from like very dry purple lips before the first surgery to like smoother and more reddish now. i think i also gain weight. like about a month later, i gained like an extra 5 to 10 pounds. so i was like only 5 to 10 pounds underweight this time.
anyway, the head scar revision removal was not completely 100%. maybe 80 to 90% removed? so i wanted to remove it completely because there is still a minor pain there and probably a minor clogged too.
so around mid november of 2003, i had the 3rd scar revision removal done and this time some stuffs went wrong...
