After a bit of poking around, I think I found another message board software that is free and looks really cool. Its also very customizable. phpBB kind of left a bad taste in my mouth after trying to find support to try to get the vBulletin converter to work. Doesn\'t seem like there\'s a concrete way to fix the errors I\'m getting and they aren\'t helping. Figured I\'ll give SMF a try. Support looks much better and I can actually understand for the most part what they\'re saying :) . I already downloaded the software packages. Just need a few hours time to dick around with it. Let me know what you think.

I woke up early and installed the new board. So far it looks pretty cool (though not to crazy about the style. That will change when its up and running :) ). I have to go to work now so I won\'t be able to do the conversion till later. Gonna work on that when I get out of work.

No. There\'s definitely issues. There\'s definitely an issue with the directory where all the graphics are. I\'m not sure how to fix it in vBulletin and quite frankly, I don\'t want to put the effort into fixing it if I\'m converting the board to a different software. I don\'t really see the point. I\'d rather spend that time and energy into getting the new board up and running. By the way, I am making progress. Not giving a definite time frame on when that is but I\'m hoping it to be soon so please just bare with this board for now.

If anyone with Admin capabilities wants to fix the graphics, by all means go for it and if you need anything from me let me know.

just wanted to give you guys an update (if anyone is still reading this board :( ). The conversion is coming along nicely. When all the troubleshooting is done, I want to do some extensive tests to make sure its all good. Hope you guys are as excited as me :)

I\'m aware JBean, lol. This isn\'t the new forum. I had some issues with the original database and vBulletin. I\'m starting from scratch with SMF. When the troubleshooting is done, this will look like an entirely new board.....because I am using a new one, lol. Once everything is working 100% and I find no errors, I\'ll redirect to the new board and we can start working on changing the style and making it look not so generic :^) Anyone who\'s on board with the design, let me know.

Just letting everyone know I\'m still working on the conversion. Haven\'t posted an update in a while and didn\'t want you guys to think I gave up on it :^)

I\'m not at work as much as of lately because of knee issues so I have more time to work on this. Been working with a guy from SMF support to get everything converted and up and running.
