World Rally Championship ... OMG, look at those pics !!!

I wanna see better pics of the cars. GT3 looks better to me, but the backgrounds are much better looking than GT3.

Amazing.  This isn\'t fmv quality graphic!  Its beyond fmv quality graphic for a first generation game!  With lots of character onscreen and what do you know 16:9 aspect ratio for widescreen tv!  Hopefully it could stay at a decent rate (30 - 60 fps).  Extremely Amazing detail!!!!  and also, don\'t forget the gameplay!  Hope is a good gameplay.

holy **** that game looks good, but for alls we know the gameplay could be like NFS:VRally which IMO was the nicest looking and ****tiest Rally game I have ever played :crap:

Those are definitely real-time replay shots. FMV would have look more polished. I think it\'s the great lightning on the PS2 that gives it the realistic look rather than textures.

Anyway, I hope it doesn\'t plays like VRally coz both VRally 1 and 2 sucks IMO.

I believe nurbs allows the developrs to use curved lines instead of all polygons to make an objest allowing something rendered with nurbs to use like 1/100th the ammount of polygons. I am not sure but I  remember seeing something like that. I also believe that lighting is one of the main reasons for the realistic looks we are getting.
For example use a 3-d text program to make a word  -Playstation for example. It looks pretty dull and plain. Then add 2 or 3 light sources and it looks amazingly realistic even on a 333 mhz dog like mine

I never heard from this game before.
Anyone know which company develops it?
The first pic looks like Rally Championship 2000,but the others have much bigger environments.
Another game on my growing list.

Evo Studios said they\'ll not be settling for anything less than 60fps... but there\'s always the danger... Wouldn\'t wonder if they made it, they\'re some of the first to use the PS2\'s power like it should be used

Too bad I\'m not much into rally games... or maybe after this one I am

DDaryl even you should know that they probley could have it running at a solid 60fps already.
