I just can\'t for the life of me see how you can say that. MGS is a masterpiece MGS2 will no doubt follow suit, especially since Hideo has stated he\'s concentrating more on gameplay then graphics

I am one of the people who are not getting this game. I tried the first MGS for 30 minutes and never touch it again (I borrowed this game from my friend).

in regard to ddaryl:  right on brother, mgs 2 will be the bomb.  But hey living in clip is a Sega guy.  I wouldn\'t expect him to be as amped about it.  Hey do you get all excied about a DC release???????   That is unless you have a DC as well, then maybe you would.  With regard to Living in clip......Did you see the 3 min trailer for MGS2?  I can understand if you don\'t like the genre but you can\'t say that it isn\'t an impressive creation.  There is no video game to date that can top Hideo\'s efforts.  If you haven\'t seen the trailer then might i suggest you see it.  It will definitely change your mind.  Hideo is probably the premier designer right now, and that benefits we the gamers and I am truly happy. :)   :)   :)   :)   :)

I have this game preordered yet I don\'t have a PS2 or intend to get one untill this game is released.  Frankly I am geting a PS2 for MGS2.

This game looks impressive as hell. I don\'t know that I\'ll worry about getting it the day it launches but I will get it eventually. (Depends on how many other games are coming out at the same time...)

I\'ll wait to see which system it\'s better on (XB or PS2) and then I\'ll get the better version. And it\'s more likely than not, unless MGX is the original and not MGS2, that the XB version will be best.

I think the PS2 version will be the better one. THe PS2\'s EE has more flexibility for gameplay elements and Hideo is shooting for innovative gameplay. I think MGSX for Xbox will have better graphics of course but the PIII won\'t allow the same flexibility as the Vector Units in the EE.

Well, like I said, i\'ll get the best one. I think it\'ll be the XB one. If it\'s not, i\'ll get the PS2 one. I do have a PS2, so it won\'t bother me none, although, I think the likelyhood of Hideo fully utilizing PS2, and it blowing away the XB version is slim. We\'ll see. I agree with some others here though, MGS was good, but by far, overrated.....kinda like Zelda. :D

Well I don\'t think either version will "Blow away" the other Xbox will be prettier, and the PS2 will have added gameplay elements but I could be completely wrong its just a hunch and I think I remember reading a Hideo quote where he questioned the PS2 port of the MGS2 to XBox because of the gameplay elements he is installing to take advantage of the PS2 hardware. Again I\'m not sure or do I swear I\'m right

And I disagree MGS was a fantastic 32 bit console game, I didn\'t know what to expect so I was blown away. MGS is one of the very few games I\'ve played through 2x\'s. NOW Zelda is a way overrated game IMO so we agree there
