PS2\'s arrival in EB..

i just got back from work today and boy are there PS2\'s galore..i walked in and i see customers walking out with PS2 bags..i go into the stock room and there are PS2\'s everywhere...its like a Fort Knox at my EB..

bad thing is is that you have to buy it as a bundle

- system
- 2 games of your choice
- 1 memory card
- 1 controller
- 2 year warranty

total comes out to like $563

so if you have an EB near you and you havent picked up your PS2 yet..go into EB and see if they are selling to walkin\'s

Well, aside from the two-year warranty that\'s pretty much what I got anyway (actually I got three games at launch.) But let us know how quick they go. I\'m interested in knowing if the bundle deal will slow down sales at all.

actually its flying off the shelves...or shall i say off the floor in the backroom...i believe we received about 80-90 systems and we are down to half in less then a day..

one customer bought one and went to work and started to spread the news to fellow co-workers..next thing you know it there are like 50 people lined up to buy the PS2

Makes you wonder just how many of these Sony could\'ve sold if they\'d had more ready. What\'s really amazing is the shortage hasn\'t really made everyone mad, it just seems to have made some people more determined to get one (I am ever so thankful I had mine reserved.)

well from how much I have sold...we had about 100 systems shipped in 2 days..which isnt bad..i have sold at least 30 PS2 systems out of the 100...and not to mention the PSOne are also a HOT item...no one can find them except for my EB..i have sold about 100 of those..we had about 300 of the PSOne\'s..

I could have scored 6 PS2\'s today at my local EB.


Looks like the shipments are rolling in.


Interesting enough I think alot of people out there aren\'t even looking anymore cause they just don\'t expect to be able to find one

1st come 1st serve yes but I never asked about the bundle. I thought about picking one up and re-selling it but Christmas is too close and obviously shipments are making there way through

o i see...if it was the bundle they most likely be the same as the one i posted up before but cheaper since the one above had a state tax of 8.25%..

ps2 is really making me so eager.  Hate sony making me have to wait.  Eager enough to wait for another year when the price goes down and see how it turn out.  My brother couldn\'t wait any longer and he bought $255 dvd player instead.  Which makes me mad!

Do you guys think that the shortages are just a market-tactic?

( I mean it certainly attracts more ppl to buy it because it\'s so "Hot" that it sells out rightaway )

its OFFICIAL i ran out of PS2\'s in 2 and a half days..now i gotta wait for more from SONY
