GameStop - 50% trade in discount for Last of Us

I was going to hold off on this a while, but this week gamestop (i dont see anything on gamestop's site, but multiple other sites saying this is a thing) theyll give you 50% off if you trade in the ps3 version

I've gone to best buy for games since i HAAAAATE gamestop's orders to make their employees as incessant as possible. "Do you want this? do you want that? do you want to trade in? do you want to preorder? do you want a magazine?"..."just give me my fucking game"

but I'll weather the storm for this one tomorrow

Worked for me. 28 bucks after tax, and 15 of that for me is the dlc

I'll give online another try even though I got destroyed when I tried that in ps3

Yeah. I never got too into Last of Us online. Its really easy to get your ass handed to you. You know if PS3 and PS4 can play online together?

Pretty much what I expected. A bit of upgraded graphics that made a great looking game amazing

ran into a few quirks i dont remember seeing on the ps3 version, like i punched a guy at the top of the stairs so he started going down, then i shot him in the face and he went FLYING way in the air and down to the ground haha.

But since my ps3 died I'm glad i re-bought the game. I'm making my gf watch since she needs to experience it but doesnt play these kinds of games

There's a cool photo mode where you can pause the game at any time and move/rotate the camera anywhere. I'll definitely be getting into that as i get more into the game

Haha. When I got the game initially, that is exactly what I told my girlfriend. She ended up liking watching it and was even asking questions the whole time.

The screenshot looks good. Definitely an amazing looking game looking more amazing. I still don't think I'll pick it up though. To me its a PS3 game and seems like they are trying to squeeze every bit of money out by releasing the same game with updated graphics. I played it and marvelled at the game on what it did with the PS3. I really don't think the game on the PS4 is going to blow me away like it did on the PS3.

Did you gf sit through the actual gameplay parts? Stealth can be boring to watch but you kind of have to play the game that way with the lack of a lot of ammo, but she reads during those parts

Yes she did. But with even stealth I would tend to get in an all out gunfight at some point lol.

no. more bow and molotovs being stupidly overpowered and that 2 v 1, the 2 win 99% of the time
