X-Box\'s 200 developers Versus\'s Sony\'s 350 developers......

Microsoft isn\'t through announcing all of their developer support.

Yet again, wait for Gamestock.

Microsoft does not need all those developers. What counts is they have developers that actually make games. PS2 has a list of probably 50 to 75 that will never actually make game for it. Just because they signed on, doesn\'t mean they need to develop.

DC was readily available after,because Sega made it that way. They shipped more than promised and did not try to hype up the system. Actually, as it is apperaing now, they underhyped it as it is been seen to perform way over the 3 million POLYS. as was stated in benchmarcks.

BTW, it is "Toy-Story" like graphucs, not REAL-TIME CG. Toy Story, gimme a break

X-Box does not need all those small, weird developers, if they have NAMCO, Konami, Square, and Peter Molyneaux, it will have moderate success, at LEAST. DC is still doing great, and they only have about 130 developers,next to PS2\'s 300, it looks small, but many of them produce games and don\'t dink around.

You guys is pulling the extremist bullsh** again.  The nasty, offensive PS2 fan crap.  I hate it when people do this.  Professor did NOT say XBox would be better.  All he said was that it would not be Sony\'s bitch.  That\'s it.  Not better, not superior, not better games.  Just not Sony\'s bitch.  Yet you guys got all pissed off and started raggin\' on him.  Why?  Is it THAT damn important to say the XBox is Sony\'s bitch?  It\'s NOT.

Now, for people who brag that XBox will look better than PSX, I remind you: More graphical power after an extra year of R&D is a Requirement, and not an exciting "accomplishment".  Kinda silly to brag on something you are required to do.  Which brings me to my next point: More PS2 sales after the PSX sold 70 million compared to the Saturns 2 million is a REQUIREMENT, not an accomplishment.  Same with XBox.  Sony has a 70 point handicap.  Why brag?  If you can\'t win more launch sales with a handicap like that, then you are nothing but a pathetic little joke.  If the PS2 had been the Saturn\'s sequel and sold 500,000, then I\'d be impressed.  But following the PSX, a $700 turd with two controllers and one launch title coulda sold 500,000.

Yes I agree this site does have its share of the extreme PS2 loving XBox smashing uneductaed gamers.


There are postitives to all 4 systems and the dedicated gamer at the very least can sit back and realize this truth

I personally want to work for Microsoft some day, but dammit, why are they throwing money away on a market that they can\'t even win to begin with?

Sure the gamers can waste their money on 4 systems, but they only need one.

So, you\'re in denial. Everybody knows that the graphics card thats going to power the Xbox, the NV2A, isn\'t finished yet. At E3, we\'ll be seeing tech demos/games that will be running on final Xbox hardware, and not the Geforce2(like they are now).
