Who do you want to win?

I want sony to win because they didn\'t screw me around at all for the five years I owned a PSX, and I don\'t think they are gonna start now

if there is one thing history has taught me its htat Nintendo will allways srew up again

again? IMO Nintendo screwed up hardcore with the N64. What other screw ups have their been though? (not counting virtual boy)

Let\'s face it. They\'re the underdog, and people speak low of them without even knowing what they\'re saying. They assume Sega will fail because they have in the past. Sega has been doing everything right this time around, and they aren\'t getting the respect they deserve. Never (IMO) has their been such a great flood of good games, and people don\'t seem to care.

Sega just keeps rolling with the punches, and keep on trying to gain some respect. I think a year from now, things are going to be really interesting. To say the least.

Let\'s face it: in the war of consoles the only way to stay in the game is 1) get your hardware out
               2) third party support
Now the DC currently has a 1 year jump on the competition.  They have plenty of units on the street which will warrant third party support.  The DC should be reasonably safe even if Sega decides to not support it any more.  The same goes for the PS2.  They 2 have and will continue to increase its console base numbers and of course the 3rd party support is there.  The only one who wins in a console war is the company.  What ever system you own it doesn\'t matter.  As long as there are games being made for it then you are a winner.  Who the hell cares about the reputation of a Company.  Your not on their payroll are you?  There is definitely enough room for more than one console on the market.  Quite frankly it is good for competition and it makes the game companies make a quality product which benifits US, the players.  This is a great time for us gamers to have so many choices.  Which ever system you get your bound to be happy with it.  The fate of any system in the long run really depends on the third party support.  As long as the game companies can support multi platforms then all the systems will flourish.  The problem may lie in the companies that will only bring their games to select consoles and those who concentrate there efforts on a game for one console and make a crappy version for other consoles.  EA did this back in the genesis days with it\'s sports line.  The genesis was far more superior then the super nintendo versions.
