A guy at my job is Peruvian. He brings in this purple drink (which I've been calling purple drank) that I'm starting to obsess over. It's called Chicha morada. It's basically made with purple maize (corn) and made with pineapple and other stuff. It's starting to be sold in my state's grocery stores, at least where there are higher Peruvian populations. That's why I love my state. It's a total melting pot so we get the best things from all cultures
