its kind of disappointing that some of this generation games graphics and physics feel like 1 to 2 generations old.

I got the same impressions, looks like the Graphics have been improved, at least the last video impressed me much more.  I love the gameplay in Tekken, furthermore the scenarios are destructible and larger and more articulated, and very fast and smooth action.  I think this Game could be a Day One for me :)
