New GT3 pictures (could this pic be real?)

Those cars look awesome.  See how the light runs across the curved surfaces?  It looks like a promotionaly glossy!  Can\'t wait to see how the game really looks though, I\'ve never had much faith in online "screens" and pics.

only time will tell, i have vry much faith in this game, and i am positive with the way it will play, but u wana waitt ill, i play it to make a real statment....... it kicks major ass mann!!!!!!!!

I\'m not much of a racing game fan, but one things for sure...That **** looks phat!!

Yeah I\'d say your the only one, that picture looks fantastic to me. From the way it looks to me its looks like a tunnel shot close up with a florescent light reflections or night time with street lamp refletion.

I just don\'t see how anyone could find a complaint about GT3 shots, they look plent good enough and its the gameplay that really makes Gran Turismo the king of racing simulators, and I\'m sure the handling and the realistics of the game will just be mind boggling

Yeah Slim, I think they\'re too shiny too.  I think that developers got a little carried away, if you look at Madden you can see the whole damn stadium in the reflection in their helmets.  I\'m not in that stage anymore where I\'m fascinated by shiny objects.

If the game is gonna look like that then by golly Polyphony Digitals art department have done an amazing job!

Nah Macabre, that game sucks! Look at that plain background. The textures suck and the car is WAY to shiney and jaggy. It doesn\'t use enough polygons either. I hate GT3!

I think the scene is taken where the cars run under the tree "tunnel".

bah what are you guys complaining about ? just be happy that a great game is coming out and we ALL know that everyone is this forum is buying it..except the people who dont own a PS2 yet and people who are not a racing type of player..but i bet those people are thinking "DAMN !!!!! those look sweet, should i get it, or not ? DAMN IT cant think"

I like GT3 shots, just not this one. The cars do not look as realistic as they do in some of the other pics. Examples:







THese cars are also shiny; but they are more realistic. I guess because the cars look compressed in the original screenshot. The reality of the cars is what separates GT3 from something like MSR.

that pic looks to good to be true, it looks like the gt2000 tech demo sony showed to show of the power of ps2
