Opps windows did it again.

yep it F@#KED ME OVER AGAIN. Man i\'m really getting sick off windows.

I had too reinstall it. It was kinda my fault. But at the same time Wasn\'t. What happened is that i had a 4 GB HD that was my D drive in my com. It was just a backup HD for the forums etc and whatever else i download, Drivers, demos etc. So i made a deal with my brother too trade it for a new sound card. This one WORKS too. Its great. Well.. anyway. Ok this is what happened.  

I have heaps of HDs. I had C,D,E,F,G,H,I. Ok now D drive was my 4 gig Hd... So when i removed it every HD went back 1.. So F became E, E became D etc.. Well G drive was my Programs drive. So it became F. When windows loaded up agian it DIDN\'T change the REG files so they could find my programs properly.

Everything went crazy. So i couldn\'t be bothered fixing everything. So i just Reinstalled windows.

The point is.. Windows Sucks.. Nar just kidding it REALLY sucks.. Ok.. Everyone that was on my Icq.. Icq me doods.. I\'ve lost everyone. Nobody loves me

What kind of a mobo do you have cuz you have a lot of HD\'s.

windows is a piece of crap, does that make us hipacrites since we use it anyways, i guess so, but if im a hipcrite so be it, windows suck the largest donkey ball ever, wich ewould be mine

Agreed. I installed WinME on my other computer yesterday out of boredom. Soon as I booted it up, I got illegal operations. So, I formatted and done it again. More illegal operations. It kept doing it. So, I\'m putting Linux back on, or maybe OpenBSD. Depends what I feel like doing tommorw.


Now, I need to find the drivers to my cd writer..

I got a Storm Platinum card. Its about the same as a Sound Blaster Live card. Its wicked.. I use ear phones when i play games on my com. You can\'t beat sound with earphones. Then i use base speakers for the base.

But i\'ve fixed all the probs. Now my com is running good again.. But for how long?

Until you add something else. And Windows decides it doesn\'t want to make sweet love with the hardware/software.

im assuming you have all those HD\'s on a SCSI or a RAID.  why the need for all that?  u running a server box?

Random Array of Inexpensive Disks, or Random Array of Independent Disks .  RAID array system is simply a stack of two or more disk drives coupled together. Rather basic and easy to arrange.

Just get the Abit KT7-RAID mobo and a nice AMD proc not expensive and kicks the living crap out of any Intel system.
Abit was nice enough to make the best AMD mobo and throw the built in RAID option in it....aren\'t they nice
